Professional Experience


2018-2024 HST Card TechnologySoftware Developer

In this role, I was responsible for:

  • Developing applications for card issuance using hardware SDKs and specifications, including EMV, PC/SC, Smartware, RS-232, and proprietary technologies on both Windows and Linux;
  • Creating embedded applications for Pinpads;
  • Building client-side applications utilizing technologies such as REST, SOAP, .NET Framework, and libcurl;
  • Designing desktop applications and GUIs using Windows Forms, WPF, and Avalonia;
  • Developing mobile applications for Android (using Kotlin and C++) and iOS (using .NET MAUI and Swift integration);
  • Collaborating as part of the security vulnerabilities team, conducting research on software vulnerabilities;
  • Providing support to clients during both the homologation and production phases.
Some key highlights include:
  • Serving as the lead designer for the ISCTool application, used for chip personalization;
  • Leading the design of an internal code quality scanning tool for C/C++ projects;
  • Winning HST's intern hackathon in 2021 by proposing the use of machine learning for log classification.


2018 GRI ClubBusiness Analyst Developer

In this role, I was responsible for:

  • Automating sales processes using Apex within Salesforce CRM;
  • Updating and maintaining legacy code;
  • Developing web forms and landing pages using JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
A key project I led was ensuring GDPR compliance for the leads database.


2015-2017 DCA (FEEC - Unicamp)M.Sc. Researcher

During my tenure, I was involved in:

  • Developing Linux network applications for the network and transport layers, including traffic capture and generation;
  • Applying linear algebra, statistics, and machine learning for modeling purposes;
  • Simulating networks using Ns-3 and emulating SDN networks with Mininet and OpenDaylight;
  • Creating C embedded applications for NetFPGA.
Key achievements included:
  • Publishing the article "Automated Selection of Inter-Packet Time Models Through Information Criteria" in IEEE Networking Letters;
  • Developing Simitar, an open-source tool for traffic modeling and generation.


2013-2014 CPqDIntern in Telecommunications on Embedded Software

During my internship, I was involved in:

  • Developing the product's command line interface;
  • Managing eNodeB LTE database;
  • Compiling the Linux kernel for PowerPC;
  • Developing device drivers and configuring bootloaders;
  • Creating shell scripts for network and user management;
  • Developing EtherMonitor, a C application for network interface management and backup;
  • Creating software user documentation.
Key achievements included:
  • Registering EtherMonitor as a software with INPI.
